Public Transportation

Unfortunately Oderberg no longer has a train station (as it did before and during GDR times). Nonetheless, Oderberg is well connected by bus to neighboring cities and villages. Because there are limited buses on the weekend, it is best to plan your trip in advance. We are about 1 hour 20 minutes from Berlin, traveling via Eberswalde, by train and bus.

Travelling by car

From Berlin: the longest, but fastest route is via Angermünde. Traveling through Eberswalde reqires about the same amount of time, as long as it is not during rush hour. The shortest, albeit slower, route is via the “landstraßen”, or country roads, primarily the 158.
